Data for Figure 2 of Rogers et al. (2022)

This file contains the integrated sky spectrum as seen by the antenna as a function of frequency for eight separate 10 minute periods, binned by Galactic Hour Angle (GHA). Each binned spectrum is preceded by a GHA label of the form “GHA= 03:00” followed by 128 rows of several (labeled) columns. The column values consist of:

Simulations for Figure 2 of Rogers et al. (2022)

This file contains the simulated antenna temperature as a function of frequency for eight 10 minute periods, binned by Galactic Hour Angle (GHA). The simulated antenna temperature are generated from a convolution of the antenna beam model with the Haslam sky map for two situations (with and without the effects of the Hut) Each GHA binned spectrum is preceded by a GHA label of the form “GHA 03:00” followed by 1024 rows of several (labeled) columns. The column values consist of:

Low-band data release 1 (Bowman et al. 2018)

The data below were used in the analysis and plots presented in Bowman, Rogers, Monsalve, Mozdzen & Mahesh, An absorption profile centred at 78 megahertz in the sky-averaged spectrumNature, volume 555, pages 67–70 (2018), doi:10.1038/nature25792. The data used for Figure 1 are from low-1 (configuration H2) and span 2016 day 252 through 2017 day 94, processed as described in the Methods section of the paper.  The data are presented in tabular form in a CSV comma delimited file.  Each row is a different frequency between 50 and 100 MHz with spectral resolution 0.390625 MHz, yielding 128 rows of data.  The file begins with header row that labels the columns.  There are seven columns providing the data used for the different curves plotted in Figure 1 panels (a) through (e).

The data used for Figure 2 are from low-1 and low-2 instruments with several hardware and processing configurations and span 2016-2017, processed as described in the Methods section of the paper.  The data are presented in tabular form in a CSV comma delimited file.  Each row is a different frequency between 50 and 100 MHz with spectral resolution 0.390625 MHz, yielding 128 rows of data.  The file begins with header row that labels the columns.  There are 17 columns providing the data used for the different curves plotted in the figure.  The curves for hardware cases H1-H5 were created with processing case P6 using only data between frequencies 60-99 MHz.  Hardware case H6 was processed using data between 57-99 MHz.   Case P8 uses the H2 data but processed with a larger frequency range between 51-99 MHz.
